Fresno State Freshman Launches Fashion Business

If you’ve walked across the Fresno State campus recently, chances are you’ve seen the “Majored in Sorority” shirts that are taking the student body by storm. But just who made these trendy tees?

The designer is none other than Fresno State freshman Allison Villines.

Allison’s involvement with business all started when a pair of hats she designed for fun caught the eye of interested buyers.  Soon she received requests from dozens of her peers and decided to try her luck in the business world.

So, after the completion of her first semester, Allison launched “Majored in Sorority,” her Greek-life-inspired clothing and accessory line.

Within weeks, Allison was selling to dozens of students and becoming the big woman on campus.

At the heart of her business success is her mantra: be the girl who just decided to go for it.

“I feel like that’s so freeing, and it’s just like in life like just literally go for it!” Allison said.

You can find Allison’s latest designs on her website treschicforcheap.com
