BLESS THE BALL

There was a star moving around campus, getting everyone psyched about Saturday’s big homecoming game.

It was the game ball and, yep, you got to hold it before kickoff.

The homecoming game football was going around campus, a new tradition this year to encourage the football team to victory. For two months Fresno State students, faculty and staff posted pictures and videos with the ball. In this way, they could share good vibes and wishes to the players.

“Bless the ball is a campaign that we are trying to do to promote homecoming trying to get students pumped about homecoming and get a good blessing and good luck to the football team,” said Alejandra Prado.

It is not every day someone gets to touch the game balls so this became a real thrill for people. “I think blessing the ball is a great opportunity to wish the players good luck and it’s pretty cool to touch the actual game ball,“ said Brooke Nelson.
Students can see these pictures and videos by typing in hashtag Bless The Ball online.

The ball has been around to many departments, and got everyone pumped up for the homecoming game. “It’s an Amazing thing. I think it is really cool and I’m thankful the teachers and faculty are supporting us.“ said Kevin Atkins.

With the good vides and victorious results at the Homecoming game, players and fans know they can look at these blessings and remember the experience.
