FRESNO STATE’S HOMECOMING LIP SYNC BATTLE

Fresno State’s Homecoming celebrations have never been short of amazing. One of the events highlighted this year was the Lip Sync Battle and Step & Stroll Showcase. Teams competed against each other for the title of Lip Sync Champion and a hefty trophy.

Fresno State pulled out all the stops by inviting DJ Kay Rich to pump up the crowd. The Satellite Student Union radiated with smiling students singing and dancing. Teams performed in front of a panel of judges. The two winners of the night were Chi Delta Beta Multicultural Fraternity Incorporated, and The Fanny Pack Group.

The event was organized by lead Gilbert Falcon. “One of the ideas that we saw from a lot of other universities was the lip sync battle and we have our step & stroll showcase as well, so kinda giving both equal representations in performing in different things.”

Organizers are hoping for an even bigger turnout of lip sync and dance fans next year. Will you take the challenge?
