FRESNO STATE FOOTBALL – BEHIND THE SCENES WITH VIDEO SERVICES
The smell of hot dogs and hamburgers filled the air as the Bulldogs and fans filled the football stadium for their matchup against cross state rival San Diego State. While most eyes were on the athletes, there were many other things going on behind the scenes.
For example, a video crew ensured the team got the film they needed to study before and after each game. “My job as a Fresno State filmer is to basically to record every practice and to make sure that every player has film to review on a daily basis,” said Ricardo Guiterrez, who is a member of the team’s film crew.
Film is recorded for most practices and all games, as it is vital for the team’s future needs. “Film is important for football because that’s how players go back and receive feedback from the coaches on what they can improve on,” said Guiterrez.
The video crew will continue their work as the football team takes on more opponents in the upcoming weeks.
