This local tire shop isn’t just changing tires; they’re trying to make Christmas just a little bit merrier by collecting toys for those in need.

“We want to meet the need that is out there for the year.” stated Les Schwab manager Bradley Buffan, who has a big heart for this cause. “It’s such a direct thing that comes back to our community, they see every dollar they give us turn into a toy and given right back”

The toys are collected at all Fresno area Les Schwab locations then brought over to the Poverello house warehouse. Volunteers will wrap the gifts and distribute them to those in need.

Poverello House CEO Cruz Avila emphasized that this is a community wide effort. “Christmas day here we give out above 5,00 plus toys Christmas morning.”
