The Fresno State Pre-Vet Club recently had their final fundraiser of the semester, “Dog Paws and Santa Claus.”

Club President Haley Moulyn explained what inspired the club’s unique fundraising idea: “We decided to do something that could bring the community together with us as well as something that is fun and exciting so we’re not just doing repetitive things, the same thing over and over again.”

10 families came out, bringing 14 camera-ready pups. From the eager retrievers to the mousy mutt, every four-legged family member brought in funds to support the pre-vet club’s expenses, from field trip costs to vaccines for their upcoming clinic.

Moulyn said they will have an even bigger fundraiser next semester, in which they provide vaccines and rabies shots at low costs.
