BASEBALL SUPERFAN
Don’t let the empty seats at Bob Bennett Stadium fool you. The spirit for baseball at Fresno State is high.
“The fans are big for us you know. We try to create our own energy, but energy coming from the stands means a lot to us. It really keeps us going and helps us keep our energy through out the game,” said Kevin Larsen, Fresno State Baseball player.
They’re not on the roster. They can’t even be drafted, but these fans are an important part of the team’s success – even if they are just unknown voices down the third base line.
“I honestly can’t remember his name right off the top of my head, but he’s here at every game and he’s always getting chants going with the crowd. He’s always wearing all red and he’s gotta be my favorite fan,” said Larsen.
His name is Inmand and not only does his energy help pump up the players, it also helps pump up the fans in the stands.
“Oh, I’ve been a fan of the Bulldogs for many years. I’ve been doing baseball since 1977, because I have so much fun,” Inmand Perkins, Baseball Super Fan.
You can catch the Diamond ‘Dogs and super fan, Imand at Bob Bennett Stadium until the end of the season.
