FRESNO STATE CELEBRATES AG DAY
Fresno State agriculture clubs shared a glimpse of their specialities during AG Day on March 14th.
The Viticulture club, Plant Science club, and the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity talked about the importance of agriculture and how it has impacted their daily lives. They also had a livestock exhibit for students which included a horse and a calf.
Fresno State student Omar Hernandez told us he strongly cares for these types of opportunities and hopes other students can take advantage of what Fresno State has to offer, such as the Gibson Farm Market.
“This is a great place to get to know people and see what we’re about. We are very inclusive, you know. That means that you don’t have to be part of our major for us to accept you into our community. We are very caring people and we really just want people to learn about what we do,” said Hernandez.
AG day is national event that is celebrated every year. To find out more, visit the website: https://www.agday.org/
