GRAD FEST 2019
In March, Fresno State hosted Grad Fest for the graduating class of 2019. There were games like spin the wheel for prizes with Dave and Busters, and Q97.1 with their own friendly competition of cornhole. Students purchased Grad Boxes to remember their time at the university
The soon-to-be graduates took pictures on a big Fresno State Bulldog chair. Mascot Victor E. made an appearance, and other essentials like class rings, shirts, and leis were available to purchase.
Many attendees were excited to graduate. “Long time coming. I’m so excited, counting the days down until May 17,” said soon-to-be graduate Amber Chandler.
Others reflected on their journey through college and were happy with how far they had come. “My college experience here has been honestly, nothing but the best. All the staff and the professors have been very encouraging, and motivated me to do my best,” said Ali Bufagi.
Some plan to return to school to further their education. “I am happy. I’m so excited and I want to do the masters program. I didn’t come this far to just to be this far,” Maria Frosta said with much enthusiasm.
Grad Fest is possible due to the help of staff and volunteers of the Fresno State Alumni Association.
Congratulations to the class of 2019. Go Dogs!
