Every spring semester, the Delta Zeta Sorority at Fresno State holds a charity flag football event to raise money for the Starky Hearing Foundation.

Aaron Moccardini, a participant in the event said, “It is a more creative way to just raise money, while getting people involved in a fun atmosphere.”

Daniel Reed, also a participant said, “We’re just raising some money for the kids like always.”

All fraternities and sororities on campus each hold philanthropies every semester to raise money for a charity of their choosing.

Sister of the Delta Zeta sorority said, “Mainly our cause is Starky Hearing Foundation. Starky Hearing make hearing aids for the less fortunate communities. And so far we have raised so much money to help out.”
