GO GREEN
The thought of going green might seem overwhelming to a busy college student.
Luckily, there are small changes you can make to help clean the Earth.
Bringing a reusable bag with you to the grocery store might not seem like a big change, but over time that’s a lot less plastic use on your end. It’s a state law now, too.
Another way to go green is to buy organically local grown food. Buying from a local vendor means less pollution.
“I grow and sell micro greens and my company is farm fresh micro greens. And I have a passion for sharing micro greens, because they are good and healthy for you. And I got well after being very sick from eating them,” said Linda Davis, who is an organic grower here in Fresno.
Also, getting outside is a great way to appreciate Mother Nature and get some fresh air. A little detox from technology is never a bad thing and it gives you a chance to appreciate our Earth.
Lastly, ditching the environmentally-damaging plastic water bottles and opting for a reusable one can alleviate non-biodegradable waste and save you money.
No matter how busy your schedule can be, there’s always a way to improve the quality of the world we all live in.
