OVERCOMING NEGATIVITY
Student life can cause stress or a negative state of mind.
To deal with such outcomes, some give themselves time alone to reflect. “I like to meditate at least once a day in the morning. And whether that be in prayer or just having some time to myself, gathering my thoughts and activities together,” said student Galhiel Dillard.
Some find procrastination is another big cause of stress for college students. To avoid this form of stress, student Alfredo Jalil Perez said, “I just try to get my work done first, so then I just have time to unwind. Do things that I enjoy. Just allow yourself that break time, ya know. Time to relax and recover, just get ready for it the next day.”
