Each February, Black History Month is celebrated all over the world as a time to recognize African Americans from our past and those making an impact today.

Brittney Watters and Alyssa Palma are the founders of P & W Consulting.

“We have created a business where students can come and feel comfortable sharing stories and we can help with their struggles,” Watters said.

They have a strong background working in education and have used their knowledge to create what is now a consulting business focused on assisting African American students.

“We feel like education is not equal and we are in the position to change that for students and even impact their adult life,” Watters said.

Watters and Palma offer a variety of services including resumé workshops, counseling, and consulting.

“We are open and honest and want students to come in and let go of their bad situations,” Palma said.
