Low-Cost Phones for Students

The Office of Community and Economic Development near Fresno’s Fashion Fair Mall is promoting the California LifeLine  Boost Mobile pilot program.

Those who are eligible for that program will get a code for a 15-dollar discount toward a prepaid cell phone plan.  

“How it works is that people sign up for regular service,” said Jessica Conrriquez, a staff member from the Office of Community and Economic Development. “So they have the option of choosing the phone of their choice. It can be like an iPhone or a Samsung, whatever they choose.”
