Taco Truck Owner Changing Things Up

Fresno has plenty of choices for tacos. From food trucks to storefronts to fine dining, tacos abound. One of those places is Tacolandia.

Owner Oscar Zamora likes to run his taco truck a little differently from the competition

“All our meat is actually cooked in a big pot so after that we chop it down instantly and then it gets put into its steam table. So that’s what makes us a little different as well because normally everybody else just throws it onto the grill,” Zamora said.

With all the places that are selling tacos in Fresno, it is not easy to be successful. That’s why it’s important to stand out.

“That’s what we are trying to do bring a little different vibe over here, to separate us from everyone else,” Zamora said.

Zamora just opened his second taco truck and sees his company growing in the competitive business here in Fresno. He plans to eventually sell hot dogs, hamburgers, and even Chinese food.
