Just Shopping For the Bear Necessities

Shopping during a pandemic is hard enough, but what does not make it any easier is having a wild bear the next aisle over.

Surveillance video from a King’s Beach convenience store shows a bear enjoying some candy and crackers while sprawled out on the store floor.

Other footage from August 12th shows a customer patting a bear on its behind to get it out of the store.

It was far from a normal day on the job.

“Not in the job description, no. Not at all. Fighting off bears was not in the job description (but it is now) it is now, apparently,” stated the store clerk.

A bear also helped himself at a local Safeway.

Experts say there are two things that could keep this from happening again.

One: The stores could disable their automatic doors so the animals can’t walk in so easily.

Two: They could use Pine-Sol. Bears apparently don’t like the smell.
