Date nights are anything but typical right now. How do you go on a date when you can’t leave your house? The pandemic has forced many couples to think outside the box when it comes to date nights.

Subscription box companies are one industry experiencing a surge in demand because of stay-at-home orders.

Crated with Love is a Fresno-based company that creates themed date night boxes that ship straight to a customer’s home. Since March, this business has seen over a 300-percent spike in sales.

“People haven’t been able to go outside, and relationships are important. Growing relationships is important. And when people are not able to go out to restaurants or to the movies and spend that time with their partners, it shows. And it can hurt the relationships that much more,” said Taylor Louge, Crated with Love’s communications director.  

Each box comes with four to six games and activities. It includes everything a couple will need for an in-home date night.
