Halloween in 2020
Halloween may look a little different this year. Paula Valdez is a single mother of three who wants her kids to have fun but still be safe. “I am mostly sad for the kids. They love trick or treating,” said Valdez.
She did as much as she could to make Halloween fun. She decorated the house, planned to carve pumpkins and to take her kids to ZooBoo at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo.
Ava Valdez, Paula’s 14-year-old understands that it is better to be safe than sorry. As for 7-year-old Michael Valdez, he does not care about safety but wants to have fun. “It messed up our day on Halloween,” said Michael when asked how he felt about the coronavirus.
The Centers for Disease Control suggests following their COVID guidelines for health safety. Do not use a costume mask in place of a cloth mask.
