Fresno Rescue Mission’s C.E.O Shares How You Can Help Out During The Holidays
The Fresno Rescue Mission is usually stocked with donations including blankets, jackets, socks and other warm essentials as we approach the holidays. Due to COVID-19, that’s not the case this year.
“Our cupboards are pretty bare and that’s because those resources we’d get such as school drives, church drives, and business drives didn’t get to happen this year,” said C.E.O Matt Dildine.
Dildine asks that if you have any cold weather essentials lying around, they would be greatly appreciated.
The Mission is also in need of food donations. Canned foods are helpful for when they are making meals for those seeking shelter at the mission.
“Dairy products, baby food products are also a big thing. We have about one baby per month born here,” said Dildine.
The Mission seeks to “Rescue, Restore and Empower through Christ-centered communities of transformation.”
