Holiday Travel Safety
All states on the West Coast currently discourage non-essential travel. The New York Times shows in California alone there are one million COVID cases, and the number is steadily increasing.
That means the holidays are going to look a lot different this year. Fresno resident Diana Mosqueda Garcia usually takes her family to Disneyland during this time. This year, she’s staying at home so her family won’t be at risk.
” COVID is still here and people are still dying, so we decided not to go anywhere this year because of the risk,” said Garcia.
If you must go out of town, follow CDC guidelines to always wear a mask, keep a good social distance, wash your hands, and avoid touching your face or mouth.
