Fresno State student becomes business owner

When the pandemic put her job as a party host on hold, Fresno State student Rodjanay Walker decided to launch her own business based on what she had learned.

“I was always very comfortable with balloons so when I found out we weren’t going to open I decided to use my time wisely and start haute balloons,” said Walker.

Her previous job taught her balloon art and where to buy supplies. One of her best friends suggested the catchy name.

Business is booming and Walker is booked most weekends. She has a wide variety of themes and styles to choose from. You can find her work on Instagram @Hauteballoons_
