Covid Started Her Soap Business

A Fresno woman has found a way to stay positive and make the most of her free time at home, by starting a soap business.

21-year-old Symmone Woods found herself with nothing to do during the first lockdown. She was without work and wanted to make extra money. 

Woods has always had a passion for skincare, so she began making natural soaps right out of her kitchen. 

“I’m just really grateful to have this, and also with the circumstances, to have something that I can hone my creative energy with,” Woods said.

She says she’s grateful to do something productive that helps other people as well as herself.
