Resnick Student Union Update

Fresno State’s new student union is now expected to open in 2022. Despite having an original completion date of fall 2021, the construction crew experienced delays.

Ground broke on construction in February 2020, but was paused a year later in February 2021 while crews waited for final plan approval from the State Fire Marshal.

The building process is going once again with construction starting back up in March 2021.

The new Resnick Student Union will have areas for meetings, clubs and organizations, and will also feature an outdoor terrace.

Once the new student union is open, students will experience a $149 increase in fees per semester to help cover construction and operations costs.
