On campus versus off campus housing

The decision between living on- or off-campus may be as challenging as picking which school to attend.

Rylee Gordillo is a freshman who lives in the dorms. She says living on-campus has its benefits. “I am right next to the pool and only like a walk away from everything pretty much. So I like the convenience of it, being on campus,” said Gordillo.

However for those who require more freedom and privacy, apartment living might a better option.

Junior Yuliya Tykha says she likes off-campus living better. “I definitely prefer to live in the apartments cuz the most important for me to have my own room and not share bathroom,” said Tykla.

Pros and cons exist for both options. So before you pick one or the other, make sure to do some research on apartments and dorms conditions and see what suits you best.
