Meet Georgette Garcia

Georgette is a first-generation college student double majoring in MCJ with an emphasis in broadcasting and Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies. Garcia was born in Los Angeles and moved to the Central Valley with her family when she was in elementary school.

In Garcia’s free time she loves to do yoga, hike, run and meditate. Pre-COVID, she enjoyed concerts, amusement parks and going out to eat with friends and family. Her favorite music festivals are Coachella and Camp Flog Gnaw.

After college, Garcia wants to highlight social issues around the world. With her degrees, she hopes to help women and amplify their voices.
