Big Times are Back
The Big Fresno Fair is back after being closed last year due to COVID-19. Fairgoers were happy to make their way back to the fun.
“It is a big thing and kind of like a tradition for a lot of the people in the Central Valley to come out to the Fresno Fair,” said Fresno resident Art Rocha.
The fair has been a tradition for families around the county for 138 years. It offers a variety of food, live music, agricultural competition and livestock. However, after COVID-19 hit in 2020, the fair went to only offering a drive-thru station for food.
“It’s really nice kinda getting back to a sense of normalcy and stuff like that,” said Rocha. “So we’re trying to enjoy the last day of the fair. Hopefully get some of our favorite foods and stuff like that.”
With things getting back to normal, the fair will continue to be a place for memories to be made.
