Fresno State students head into finals week
Finals week is quickly approaching and Fresno State students are feeling the stress.
The Fall 2021 semester brought the return of in-person instruction to Fresno State after over a year of remote classes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This means students are having to readjust to in-person finals as well.
“Having to deal with work, having to work all day and then also study, whether the finals are going to be in class or online, going to have to figure out a way to fit all of that in and get through it,” explained Jared Hickman, a junior at Fresno State.
Students are feeling an added layer of pressure as they complete their finals during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Finals week is a stressor. I am trying to hold it together, trying not to cry, doing my best just to survive,” Fresno State senior Rhett Rodriguez said.
Luckily for students, an open campus includes an open library. Many students are utilizing Fresno State’s library resources to prepare for the end of the semester.
The campus’s library provides students with the needed technology, study space and research resources to successfully complete their courses.
Fresno State’s finals week begins on Dec. 13 and concludes on Dec. 17.
