Brady retires and fans react

Tom Brady has retired from the NFL after playing for 22 seasons. He let the football world and fans know on social media that he was done after giving it his all.

Fans around the world reacted to the news. Some could not believe the day would come, but others were excited to hear the news. Ignacio Medrano, who is a Raiders fan, said his favorite memory of Tom Brady was simply “retiring.”

Medrano said his favorite moment Tom Brady moment wasn’t a positive moment for Brady fans.

“It was the year Tom Brady went undefeated and then after in the playoffs, they went up against the Giants. Sixteen-0 and they lost when they were predicted that they were gonna beat them.”

Other fans were sad and upset, refusing to believe the news.

“My overall feelings, I mean I think it is a sad day,” said Patriots fan and Brady supporter, Moises Salazar. “Not only as a fan of him, but it is like a sad day for football. It is a sad day for football fans.”

Brady not only walks away from the NFL as a former football player. He walks away with seven Super Bowls and three MVP awards.

Brady also finishes his career leading the entire NFL in all-time passing yards and passing touchdowns all at the age of 44.
