Fresno State Professor Explains Crypto

Crypto has been popular for a while now. Some people have been investing impulsively, but others are taking the time to learn about crypto before committing to investing.

So what is Crypto exactly? Investors see it as an opportunity to make a little extra money on the side.

“It’s another outlet,” said Marc Americos, who has added Crypto to his assets. “It’s another venue that I can, you know, put money in. So there’s stocks, there’s real estate. and there is also crypto. They are all different.”

The majority of the people who want to invest have a hard time understanding Crypto in general. The main problem is understanding the graphs of each coin.

When is the perfect time to invest? Is it when the graph is going up? Or when it is going down?

Fresno State accounting professor Sal Rana, explains crypto from an economic point of view.

“China is shutting down, for example,” Rana explains. “You know, in cryptocurrency and there goes a dive, right? Some people can probably receive it as, ‘Well, china is not mining it so there may be more demand for that so now I want to buy,’ you know, hoping the price will go up.”

Crypto is arguably becoming more valuable. Some are even saying it is competing with the US dollar.
