Meet The Fresno State Focus Crew

The Fresno State Focus Crew has been working hard this semester to put together our weekly newscasts.

Throughout the semester the Focus Crew has had the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment and learn different jobs. Each role is essential in making sure that the show makes it on the air smoothly.

While running a live show, our crew has had their skills put to the test in more ways than one.

“When something either breaks or isn’t working, you kind of have to figure it out fast and find multiple ways to put on a show,” said crew member Brianda Lemus.

As graduation quickly approaches, many crew members are deciding what their plans will be for their future careers. Some plan to stay behind the scenes, while others plan to transition to being on-air talent.

“After I finish here at Fresno State, I do want to pursue my career in radio,” said crew member Karina Guevara.

For students looking to be a part of the Fresno State Focus Crew, many openings are still available for the fall 2022 semester.
