Bulldog Bowl

The student union has a lot to offer Fresno State students, including Bulldog Bowl, which boasts 12 bowling lanes and 13 pool tables.
“Classes are hard,” said biology student Sarai Torralba. “After getting done with all my assignments, it’s cool to chill and have fun sometimes.”
The fun gets kicked up a notch on Friday nights when the lights go down for glow-in-the-dark bowling.
Students who don’t have free time for fun can justify taking a break by signing up to bowl for class credit. The alley also is home to the “Bowldog Bowlers,” the award-winning Fresno State bowling team.
“I think everyone should try bowling out,” said Vincent Luong, Bowldog Bowler. “It’s not a super competitive sport. I just think it’s a fun thing to do in your free time.”
Bulldog Bowl is open between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. while school is in session. Lanes are closed to everyone from 11 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays for bowling class.
While the alley is open to the public, Fresno State students receive exclusive discounts with games starting at less than $3.
