The Wounded Warriors Project
United States military veterans who served in the Armed Forces are known for giving their lives for the sake of their country.
Raymond Blum is a former Marine in the United States military, where he served for 30 years.
Now, he donates his time and money to several Marine Corps charities and the Wounded Warrior Project.
“They will raise funds to assist the living conditions of wounded warriors. So they may be missing a leg or an arm or something. So just trying to make them a better life,” Blum said.
The Wounded Warrior Project doesn’t just help veterans who have been wounded physically but also mentally and emotionally through their years of service.
“Anytime there’s somebody that gives the ultimate sacrifice or even a major sacrifice and loses part of their functioning, their body, their mind, with war. Representing our country. I think it’s huge to support them,” said Jarod Cook, a charity donator.
Cook is a golfer who donates money to the Wounded Warrior Project. He and many others have chipped in to help support the charity in honor of the service and sacrifice of the nation’s veterans.
