Campus construction about half completed

Some of the construction between the Joyal Building and the music block has been completed leaving an open grass space for students to enjoy. Fences have been removed after a three-month residency caused by a new water system being put in all around campus.

Fresno State’s rich landscape had to be pulled up so pipes could be accessed. Since the job was completed, new, greener grass was planted in its place.

“We’re trying to regain some of our landscape now that they’re pulling down all the fences. As soon as they vacate an area, we go in and try to clean it up,” said Mike, head of construction.

Construction on campus is almost half-way done and Mike expects it to be fully completed by Fall 2024.
