The Palazzo Apartments taken Over by Trash And Filth
The Palazzo apartments across from Fresno State have been dealing with a number of problems over the years.
Students have complained about overflowing trash bins, mold, broken elevators and stains throughout the apartments, but say management hasn’t taken any steps to correct the problems.
“The trash mess around here has affected me. It’s not a clean place, and it’s not a good place to live,” said Owen Cornick, who lives in one of the apartments. “It’s not good for your mental health when there is trash everywhere.”
The Palazzo apartments opened in 2010. Palazzo management and staff refused to respond on camera to our questions about the conditions.
However, off camera, they said the best thing to do to stop the mess is to take your trash to the dumpsters instead of leaving it downstairs at the small trash cans. It may seem like a small task, but the result can be much bigger.
Management also said if they find an item with your name on it inside the scattered trash, you could be fined for it. Therefore, they say you should make sure your trash goes into a proper receptacle.
If you have any questions about the complex or complaints about the mess, you can reach them on their website or Instagram media account.
