Big Hat Days

By Emily Crabtree

CLOVIS (KFSR)ーOld Town Clovis bustled with electricity as they prepared for the 86th annual Big Hat Days event on April 6th and 7th, 2024.

“It is the largest street festival in the central valley. We take up 13 city blocks, and it is an outdoor street festival,” said Priscilla Montell, the Director of Operations and Events for the city of Clovis.

“We have about almost 400 craft vendors, commercial vendors, and businesses that exhibit. Know these people are purchasing gas here, eating here, staying here, and end up becoming regulars and coming back to visit our community.”

At Big Hat, there is plenty to do for both adults and kids. Vendors offer food, and there is a section with rides for kids. If you’re looking to expand your family, local animal shelters are trying to find forever homes for their adorable adoptables.

The last day to enjoy Big Hat Days this year is April 7th. Don’t miss out on the fun!
