A Man’s Perspective: A Man Gives His Opinion On Highly Debated Topics;questions asked by women

Fresno, Calif. (KFSR)—In March, The Girls Club, a KFSR radio team, took to social media and asked men what they wanted to know about women. The segment was a hit so they did it again but with a twist; what do women want to know or better understand about men.

In April 2024, Leslie Gonzalez, MCJ reporter, scoured through hundreds of submissions we received via Instagram stories and selected the most asked for questions for Lauryn Knott, host, to present to guest Cody Pedersen.

One of the most asked questions was, “Can guys and girls be just friends? What makes the difference?”

“Women make a lot of decisions daily that men don’t have to make.”

“I think this has served me in my adult life in making genuine connections platonically with women,” Pedersen said. “…I do think that society has kind of made it so that that shouldn’t be an option or like it’s a it’s a little bit sexualized, it’s sexualized and it’s like taboo. And I think that that’s wrong.”

To follow up, they discussed first dates, boundaries and typical roles each gender assumes in a new relationship.

The second question was also popular, and we were not surprised that it was asked so much: “Who should pay on the first date?”

“Hot take men should plan dates within their means,” Lauryn said. “If a couple is in a similar financial situation, honest conversations should be had before the date.”

Encouraging girls to keep their standards high and not lower them when they are not being met.

To wrap up the show and lighten the mood, the two referenced the TikTok-invented “Sassy Man Apocalypse.”

This was the last episode of “The Girls Club” that will air on KFSR Underground.
