Fresno, Calif. ( KFSR)—Every year, Fresno State hosts the annual Vintage Days, which is a fun-filled 3-day weekend with lots of food, entertainment, crafts, live music and lots of fun for people to enjoy. This year, the event will be happening this weekend, April 19-21st, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday. However, the event will wrap up at 5 p.m. on Sunday, considering it will be the last day of the fun weekend.
The big three-day event will be celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. Like previous years, you can expect lots of fun entertainment, with a difference of a special block party happening Saturday night from 7 to 10 p.m.
The event is expected to feature lots of yummy food stands provided by many of our Fresno State organizations, such as Pineapple Bowls fruit bowls, Aguas Frescas, bacon-wrapped hot dogs, corn esquites, nachos, ice cream sandwiches, fried Oreos/funnel cakes and much more. One of the many organizations that will once again be present this year like they did last year is Fresno State’s Women’s Rugby Team.
“I’m super excited for this year’s Vintage Days,” said Fresno State student Bella Bonilla.
“This will be the 50th Vintage Days at Fresno State. Last year, I attended, and I was working with my club, Women’s Rugby. We sell ice cream sandwiches. I enjoy Vintage Days because I get to hang out with my team and get to promote my club, and it’s very fun to see the different vendors and students.”
You can catch the Womens Rugby team once again this weekend selling their ice-cream sandwiches yet again.
Don’t miss out on the fun this weekend. Remember, this big event only happens once a year!
