South valley influencer raking in millions of views

Leo Gonzalez was born and raised in the city of Hanford, California.

He is a TikToker with over three million followers. Gonzalez says he has always enjoyed making videos, even as a kid when it wasn’t as popular.

He said that he wants to make videos that are thought provoking.

“There’s nothing better than making people feel something, whether it’s good or sad, or a reminder of some sort,” said Gonzalez. “You don’t really lose that because it’s always who you are.”

Gonzalez said he looks up to many people such as actor and comedian George Lopez, talk show host Conan O’Brien, and labor leader Dolores Huerta.

Before becoming a TikToker he took classes in journalism at West Hills Community College where he graduated with an associate’s degree in social science.

He uses those skills when he goes to events like premieres or award shows and gets to interview celebrities on their upcoming shows, movies, or music.

His best friend Teagan Jeffers says Gonzalez has always been the same growing up.

“He’s always been funny,” Jeffers said. “He’s always wanted to make people laugh and he’s always just been that kid in class. That just wanted to make everybody laugh.”

Gonzalez has had many career highs, one of them being when he gave a speech at the White House.

“When I spoke at the White House it was such a surreal moment because I was super nervous and outside of myself,” said Gonzalez. “And when I walked up there and I started speaking, I looked down and Dolores Huerta was in the front row, and that was insane for me.”
