With graduation coming up students are looking for internships to get real world experience.

If you’ve ever been to a sporting event here at fresno state you may have seen some students in the background getting some shots with their cameras.

These people are interns in the red wave creative.

“we’re just there shooting the events covering all the sports that we have here from just different angles with everyone else involved.” Nicholas Cummens said, a videographer for Red Wave Creative.

In creative the interns take either pictures or videos for Fresno State athletics.

Shooting for sports isn’t the only experience within creative.

members also have the chance to learn cool editing techniques like edgar carrillo who also works as a studio engineer for some classes here at fresno state.

He explains why he loves being a member.

“I think the creativity of it, kind of doing whatever you want, kind of making a video in a way where it reaches the audience and so it makes me feel a certain way. I think that’s the part I love,” said Carrillo.

Melina Kazanjian has built her experience taking photos, she explains why her passion has grown over time.

“Get those moments, the videos are great and they make great clips, but I feel like those photo and video bring something unique to the table and I just like being able to capture those moments that can last a lifetime,” Kazannjian said.

whether it be for experience to get that job after college
