Bad Girls Market – Baddies building communities
It’s a surprising sight to see Manchester Mall full of activity. All thanks to a growing market.
Bad Girls Market started in 2023. It is a woman-centered market that aims to bring baddies together and share an evening of fun and fashion
Sofia Sanchez, owner of thrift222hard, and Liz Hernandez, owner of diioscuriis, banded together after feeling like there wasn’t enough space for female vendors.
“I’ve been vending for seven years now, and I’ve gone to all types of markets, and it’s usually male-dominated,” Hernandez said. “Usually, it’s a whole different vibe than this, and I really like it, and I think it is important because the girls are just so supportive to each other. It’s so nice.”
Bad Girls Market has built a community from not only the different vendors but also the event themes.
Every month has a different theme, including disco, fairy and Bratz.

“It helps prompt your creative take on each market,” said Eleanor Brown, owner of @Efindz about the different themes. “You can tweak it and cater to that theme. People dress up, which is cute, and participate with the market.”
The Bad Girls Market continues to grow every month, and even though it’s baddies only, new vendors are always welcome.
On Instagram, @badgirlsmarket just announced the newest market, set for May 24. Follow them to stay updated on the undersea adventure they have planned for the next market.
