Going to school and working can be tough
Balancing all those hours takes a good amount of time management.
Forensic Behavioral Science major Daniel Tula fills out a calendar to find out when he is free.
“I’m very aware of my time,” said Tula.
He likes to stay on campus after his classes to find an empty room to do his homework. He says it is easier for him to do homework on campus than to go back home.
If students are still struggling to find a way to balance their hours, they can go to the Student Health and Counseling Center. That’s where they may meet Doctor Etisha Wilbon, the director of Counseling and Psychological Services.

“Sometimes we encounter students who have not been taught how to bugdet by their family members,” Wilbon said.

The Center for Essential Needs can help students by providing them with a counselor to speak with about financial matters. The Center also hosts events that showcase the additional resources available to students in need of financial assistance.
